Step by step preparation. Crush the cookies and grind the mixed nuts. Use a big bowl and mix in plain flour and softened butter to make crumbles. Add a pinch of salt, crushed cookies, ground nuts and sugar. After the ingredients make a fine mixture, complete it with an egg. Wrap it with the kitchen foil and leave it to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Take the small amount of dough and make balls between the palms – then press it with them to make a nice shape. Make sure there is a space between them, when placed on the baking paper, because they will grow a bit. The dough will make up to 35 pieces. Bake for 15 minutes in the previously preheated oven on 180°C.

After taken out and left to get cold, the cookies can be dipped in the melted chocolate (a third of every piece). If doing so, place them back on the baking paper and put them in the fridge for awhile. After the chocolate harden, they are ready to be served!

The first haiku on the right page in Croatian says: divan ugođaj/ stvara dobar prijatelj/ i čokolada or, translated, a pleasant feeling creates a good friend and the chocolate!
